[ Production & Supply of Aggregate ]
Under European Standards suppliers of aggregates for uses with high safety requirements are required to hold certification of their factory production control (FPC) system from a Notified Body.
In the UK this level of certification is required for aggregates supplied for highway works, having a PSV of 58 or above (EN 13043:2002). Aggregates supplied for other uses (for example: in concrete – EN 12620:2002) in other EU Member States may also require the producer to hold FPC certification.
CPC can provide Certification for quarries and distribution centres in respect of:
- ISO 9001:2000 and/or
- Factory Production Control for aggregates supplied for uses with high safety requirements.
